How to Create a User Backup in DirectAdmin

DirectAdmin includes its own built in backup manager for your user account's domains, emails and databases. Here's how you can create a backup.

  1. Log in to the DirectAdmin control panel.
  2. Under the “Advanced Features” section, select “Create/Restore Backups”.
  3. Select the specific websites or data you would like to back up.
  4. Click the “Create Backup” button.

If enabled, you will receive a notification when the backup job has completed. User backups are stored in the /backups directory.
