Our CloudLinux Resource Limits

The majority (soon to be all) of our shared hosting locations use CloudLinux to provide enhanced security, features and LVE limits. This added software enables us to ensure that servers maintain their health and integrity over the long-term. As well as that, users can benefit from features such as Python and Node.js app deployment, PHP selector and caged file systems for security.

This blog post will outline the different resource limits for each of SmallWeb’s hosting plans.

We use different limits for different webserver types. LiteSpeed based services will have a higher resource limit and are separated into a different table from our Apache based services.

Please note, while the limits allow to you use 100% of a CPU core this is only sustainable for short periods of time and prolonged high usage is prohibited in our Acceptable Use Policy. We advise you to keep up to date with our Terms of Service.
